Tehama County Fire

Tehama County Fire Department (TCFD) is an all-risk combination fire department which protects a population of approximately 64,000 citizens. Tehama County covers an area of approximately 2958 square miles. The TCFD averages approximately 8300 all-risk incidents annually. The TCFD has been had a cooperative agreement with CAL FIRE since 1927 to manage and provide all-risk fire and emergency medical services to the unincorporated areas of Tehama County.

Battalions

Battalion 1

Battalion I lies along Highway 36 East, from Red Bluff to the Plumas county line and through the Lassen National Forest.

Battalion 2

Battalion II encompass a large area of the Sacramento Valley and eastern foothills.

Battalion 3

Battalion III lies in the northwest portion of Tehama County and includes many smaller communities.

Battalion 4

The Battalion IV boundary begins at Gyle Road in Tehama County and extends to the Glenn Colusa County line to the South.
